The highlight of a surfing holiday is of course the beach: Here you can surf perfect waves, watch the pros and have lots of fun with the whole family. In addition to the accommodation, we have a separate area in the camp with a kids' area for handicrafts, games and painting. Here you can regularly see planes taking off and landing on the water. The most beautiful hiking routes in Europe lead past the two large lakes in the immediate vicinity of the camp: including the "Tang de Biscarrosse", the largest lake in the region and an Eldorado for seaplane freaks. Located just an hour from Bordeaux, it is the premier surf spot along France's Atlantic coast south of Bordeaux. Family surf camp organized and run by Puresurfcamps.In our camp we offer every family member the right leisure opportunity. In the immediate vicinity are two large lakes where you can experience some adventures together. The Biscarrosse family surf camp is located directly behind the dunes in an idyllic pine forest. 5.The cozy camping lodges are in the middle of the green pine forest The train takes about 25 minutes, but taxis are available too. The only negative is that you’ll have to travel from the airport to the lodge. Wetsuits can be hired and so can surfboards and bikes so you don’t need to bring anything but your normal travel wear. There is a kitchen so you can cook for yourself or use restaurants nearby. Kids under 12 don’t get charged to stay, and breakfast is included in your stay. There are surfing lessons are for kids and beginners all the way up to advanced, so no matter your level you’ll have an instructor who can look after you. If you don’t plan on bringing your own surfing equipment, you can rent or buy some there. However, you can hire a guide to take you to the best places on the island to produce the most fun waves for your skill level.Īll of the restaurants are within a mile of the resort, so you won’t need to use public transport to get from one place to the next. You should only take the family here if you all have some surfing knowledge already because there might not be any instructors available.
